MANFRED SEIPT appointed executive director

Manfred Seipt will work alongside Conductor & Artistic Director, Michael Waldron, as LCS enters its 11th year. In this new role for LCS, Manfred will oversee all strategic and operational activities. LCS continues its aim to engage and inspire audiences through an ambitious programme of concerts, recordings and education work, giving life to lesser-known repertoire alongside the more familiar.

He brings extensive experience in artist management, touring, recording and partnership development, with a passion for enabling artistic excellence and supporting ambitious organisations.

Manfred says: "I'm delighted to be joining London Choral Sinfonia and to support Michael, the ensemble and the wider team as they continue their exciting journey. I look forward to helping create new opportunities through inspiring performances, recordings, education, partnerships and audience development.”

Craig Barrett, Chairman of Trustees, says: “The high calibre of applicants for this role demonstrates the pull that LCS has and we are confident that Manfred is a great choice. He fits exactly with our ambition and our strategy for growth. His experience is extensive and we all look forward to working with him and introducing him to our supporters”

Michael Waldron, Conductor & Artistic Director, adds: “All of us at LCS are thrilled to welcome Manfred. His distinguished background and considerable experience in the industry align perfectly with where LCS is now. As we enter our second decade and seek to continue pursuing growth, I am really looking forward to working together and to what the future holds.”
